Come meet the

Edge Team

Our people and

We try to keep things simple: hire the best people to deliver the work, and put the right people on the right projects. This means we put together multi-disciplinary teams to tackle specific client problems, and we don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach.

And when we find the right people, we hope they’ll want to stay with us. We have some pretty progressive employment policies, and we’re a tightknit family – which means we look out for each other, we’re straight with each other, and we squabble over keeping the kitchen tidy.

  • Nicole_Gardner

    Managing Director

    Nicole Gardner

If Nicole wasn’t our MD, she would probably be the conductor of an orchestra. She thrives on connecting all the moving parts of the agency, solving problems and working with clients and multifunctional team members to deliver strong business outcomes, all in perfect harmony.

Her career has offered her more diversity than a cereal variety pack with experience in most industries as she moved between Brisbane, London and Sydney. Prior to returning to Edge and the world of independent Australian agencies in 2019, Nic was the GM at McCann Sydney.

A devout northern beaches fan, Nic is an unofficial brand ambassador for the area (but open to sponsorship).

  • Will_Bassett

    Will Bassett

In another life, Will was an account man. Working alongside clients to shift everything from condoms to carrots, booze to banking products, and supers to sim cards, he helped nurse a fair share of ads into the world.

He then switched London for Sydney, where he was encouraged to apply for AWARD School. Since then he’s written copy and developed concepts for clients such as Telstra, NRMA, Uber, Bupa, Netflix and Amazon.

Outside of work, Will likes to think he’s good at surfing but accepts that he’ll never be the next Kelly Slater. Other semi-successful passion projects include kung fu, spearfishing and DJing.

  • Pricila_Graziano

    Account Executive

    Pricila Graziano

Brazilian born, Inner West resident, Pricila has been in Sydney for almost 6 years. Not your usual “Priscilla”, her name spells differently due to her parents' fascination with numerology in the '80s.

Pri, as she is known by friends and family, has a professional background with previous roles in various industries, from public relations to hospitality. During the long lockdown of 2021, she joined the Edge team.

A fun enthusiast, on the weekends she can be found anywhere but home. She is passionate about contemporary art, glitter and good food. Travel addicted she is always looking for cool Airbnb’s and flight deals.

  • Richard_Parker

    Executive Planning Director

    Richard Parker

Rich is a strategic leader who is obsessed with results. He believes the best planners immerse themselves in culture, understand psychology, and can apply their thinking across any channel or discipline. Which is why he doesn’t complain (too much) when his wife makes him watch Love Island – but is equally likely to quote Camus in a client presentation.

Rich spent over half his career in the UK developing campaigns for the likes of Captain Morgan, Agent Provocateur,, Aviva, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson and Magners Irish Cider before moving to Australia to join Edge as strategy chief.

Since then he’s worked with some of Australia’s biggest brands including AAMI, Bupa, Dan Murphy’s, Mitre 10, Optus and Woolies, winning awards at Mumbrella, Caples, AWARD and a shortlisting at the Effies – amongst others.

  • Sophie_Milican

    Art Director

    Sophie Millican

Sophie started at Edge as part of the Internship program at the end of 2020 whilst finalising her studies at university, and soon after was offered the role of junior designer. Then, after graduating AWARD school, she was promoted to Art Director.

She loves to experiment with typography and geometric forms, as well as dabbling in animation and UX. Her design style stems from simplistic and abstract inspiration with skills in sketching and painting under her belt as well.

With an undeniable sweet tooth, she is an avid fan of everything food, and you can often find her in her free time working up a sweat at the gym or enjoying an afternoon nap.

  • Ben_Smith

    Executive Creative Director

    Ben Smith

As a kid Ben dreamt of being a left winger for Liverpool, but his football career peaked playing Sunday League football, so these days he dreams up ideas and helps make them happen as Edge's Executive Creative Director.

Over the last 15 years he’s worked at some of the most respected and innovative agencies in Australia and the USA including Droga5 Sydney, R/GA New York, Crispin Porter + Bogusky Colorado, as well as Clemenger BBDO and Ogilvy both in Sydney.

Ben loves making insightful, funny and smart ideas based in pop culture and working with good people.

His work has won lots of awards including golds at D&AD, Cannes, Spikes, Caples, Webbys and APAC Effie’s, he’s helped win agency of the year titles and taught at Miami Ad School in New York.

Outside of ads, Ben enjoys hanging out with his young family, watching Liverpool, playing tennis and skiing.

  • Georgia O'Sullivan

    Junior Graphic Designer

    Georgia O'Sullivan

With a broad background in various design disciplines, Georgia brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work. Her goal is to create designs that prioritise the user's journey by seamlessly combining functionality and aesthetics.

When the weekend rolls in, Georgia switches gears into ultimate chill mode. You can catch her basking in the warm sun, sipping on iced lattes and showering love on every doggo that crosses her path.

When Georgia finally hangs up her designer cape, she dreams of owning her own dog sanctuary that would welcome dogs from all walks of life.

  • Donna_Phan

    Senior Account Manager

    Donna Phan

Donna believes hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard, and applies this work ethic to everything she does in order to get the job done.

Following an internship whilst completing her Media and Communications degree at the University of Sydney, Donna’s tenacity landed her a permanent gig at Edge, where she gets to work on a range of clients like Moccona, Jaycar, Virgin Money Australia and freedom furniture.

When she’s not creating keynotes with wacky animation transitions, you can find Donna road tripping along the coast or with friends at the pub enjoying a good bowl of.. you guessed it, sweet potato fries.

  • James Mukheibir

    James Mukheibir

James is perhaps most famous (or infamous) for his proclivity for eating vegemite on a spoon. It has lost him friends and made him enemies, and he has no desire to change his ways.

James loves thinking creatively and has experience working with clients like Adidas, Audi, NBA, Binge, Twitch and more. James has an addiction to adventure, either by way of travelling to weird and wonderful places or through fiction in books, theatre or film.

  • Caitlin_Ammann

    Planning Director

    Caitlin Ammann

Our resident Texan has spent much of her career on the media side of strategy, making her expertise in channel planning and creative and media integration an asset to the team. Caitlin’s passion areas include design thinking, facilitation, and start-ups.

On weekends you’ll find Caitlin working towards her goal of visiting every national park in NSW, and she’s yet to find a craft she won’t try, from watercolour to woodworking.

  • Fergus_Stoddart

    Growth and Partnerships Director

    Fergus Stoddart

A restless entrepreneur, Fergus founded Edge looking to create something different. Anti 'agency fluff' and results-oriented, Ferg focusses on new business development and growth. He’s constantly searching for the best way to bring together digital experiences, technology, advertising and content to engage consumers in meaningful and measurable ways.

A pioneer of content marketing in Australia, Fergus still teaches the ADMA Content Marketing Strategy course, helping to guide the next generation of talent.

Outside of work, Ferg can be found in the water with his family or dancing recklessly at parties.

  • Jiyan_Dessens

    Senior Content Editor

    Jiyan Dessens

Jiyan can be summed up in four words: “Big hair. Bigger opinions.” And it’s this tenacity and commitment to creating authentic content that makes her work so meaningful.

Following stints with News Corp, Sky News and Temple & Webster, Jiyan now brings her storytelling savvy to the Costco Wholesale, Virgin Money, Wattyl and Amazon Prime teams. In years past, she’s had the pleasure of leading content creation for Edge’s award-winning AAMI Insurance and Logie-nominated Invictus Games accounts. Plus doing incredibly diverse and insightful work for a multitude of other brands, including Suncorp, Dymocks, Freedom, Weight Watchers, Petbarn, REX Airlines and Crown.

  • Rod_Mooseek

    General Manager, Melbourne

    Rod Mooseek

A proud Melbournian, Rod is equally passionate about getting the best out of everyone he works with in a fun and collaborative way. While he doesn’t take himself too seriously (and is our resident whipping boy for endless follicly-challenged jokes), Rod takes his work very seriously – with an unrelenting focus on delivering outstanding, effective work.

Having worked on many high-profile brands, Rod adds a wealth of experience across retail, automotive, financial and health services, entertainment and sport.

Outside of work, Rod is an AFL (Carlton) fanatic and will happily share his granular analysis of the game. Other loves include fashion, food, single-malts and excessively long walks.

  • Alice_Sherrah

    Senior Account Director

    Alice Sherrah

Alice’s ability to juggle priorities, deadlines and multiple takeaway coffees have yet to land her a role in the circus but certainly keeps her clients coming back for more.

Her 14 years of industry experience has seen her work across brands including Avène & Klorane, Defence Housing Australia, Stockade Brewing and Black Dog Institute. She even survived 3 Toronto winters working on national retail marketing for McDonald’s Canada.

Outside of work you’ll find Alice in a dog park, kids’ playground, or Marrickville brewery.

  • Waiton_Fong

    Waiton Fong

Waiton is a huge fan of comics and geek culture and feels like the world is finally catching up to him (j/k). His design aesthetic is all about balance and symmetry, with design and animation skills honed from exciting stints at studios in Australia and New Zealand. He believes in beauty and practicality in equal measure and brings this to his work.

Outside of work, Waiton loves to draw and paint, self-publishes comics and exhibits in intimate galleries. He dreams of long sunny days and the sound of waves gently crashing outside his (future) beach-front studio.

  • Livinia_Fernandes

    Media Executive

    Livinia Fernandes

Known for her friendly and bubbly demeanour, Livinia is passionate about making a difference in the world, and lives by the motto of ‘making kindness the norm’.

Joining Edge from Wavemaker, Livinia has experience across a variety of blue chip clients. She also has a background in storytelling, having studied a Bachelor of Media with a major in Journalism and Non-Fiction Writing at Macquarie University.

  • Callum_Foot

    Art Director

    Callum Foot

  • Lisa_Blackshaw

    Media Director

    Lisa Blackshaw

If asked to define her key strength, Lisa reckons it's her ability to forge strong and lasting relationships with her clients – founded on trust, and her constant fight for value on their behalf.

She's a straight forward, honest, and energetic leader, who brings a passion for the media industry, along with a broad set of skills ranging from process development to creative thinking, to bear for her clients: all resulting in bold, sensible, new and cutting edge media campaigns that drive success for all parties.

Outside of work, two of Lisa's favourite things are travel and restaurants – and, although she says she's 'no Masterchef' she isn't opposed to a dabble in the kitchen herself!

  • Louis_Williams

    Media Manager

    Louis Williams

Louis is a media addict. He is a data devotee who is obsessed with ad tech algorithms, omnichannel personalisation and biddable media. He blames this data fascination on the fact that he used to specialise in IT B2B advertising. It’s an excuse though, because anyone who has met Louis can see that he is a nerd at heart, perhaps best exemplified by the fact he first came to NSW to represent WA in an interstate chess tournament.

Louis once again found himself called to Sydney to join the Edge team. When Louis is not plunging into all things media you can find him most likely underwater spearfishing, or diving for sea urchins.
