Come meet the

EDGE_TEAM

Our people and

CULTURE

We try to keep things simple: hire the best people to deliver the work, and put the right people on the right projects. This means we put together multi-disciplinary teams to tackle specific client problems, and we don’t have a one-size-fits-all approach.

And when we find the right people, we hope they’ll want to stay with us. We have some pretty progressive employment policies, and we’re a tightknit family – which means we look out for each other, we’re straight with each other, and we squabble over keeping the kitchen tidy.

    Managing Director

    Nicole Gardner

    close

If Nicole wasn’t our MD, she would probably be the conductor of an orchestra. She thrives on connecting all the moving parts of the agency, solving problems and working with clients and multifunctional team members to deliver strong business outcomes, all in perfect harmony.

Her career has offered her more diversity than a cereal variety pack with experience in most industries as she moved between Brisbane, London and Sydney. Prior to returning to Edge and the world of independent Australian agencies in 2019, Nic was the GM at McCann Sydney.

A devout northern beaches fan, Nic is an unofficial brand ambassador for the area (but open to sponsorship).

    Will Bassett

    close

In another life, Will was an account man. Working alongside clients to shift everything from condoms to carrots, booze to banking products, and supers to sim cards, he helped nurse a fair share of ads into the world.

He then switched London for Sydney, where he was encouraged to apply for AWARD School. Since then he’s written copy and developed concepts for clients such as Telstra, NRMA, Uber, Bupa, Netflix and Amazon.

Outside of work, Will likes to think he’s good at surfing but accepts that he’ll never be the next Kelly Slater. Other semi-successful passion projects include kung fu, spearfishing and DJing.

    Account Executive

    Pricila Graziano

    close

Brazilian born, Inner West resident, Pricila has been in Sydney for almost 6 years. Not your usual “Priscilla”, her name spells differently due to her parents' fascination with numerology in the '80s.

Pri, as she is known by friends and family, has a professional background with previous roles in various industries, from public relations to hospitality. During the long lockdown of 2021, she joined the Edge team.

A fun enthusiast, on the weekends she can be found anywhere but home. She is passionate about contemporary art, glitter and good food. Travel addicted she is always looking for cool Airbnb’s and flight deals.

    Executive Planning Director

    Richard Parker

    close

Rich is a strategic leader who is obsessed with results. He believes the best planners immerse themselves in culture, understand psychology, and can apply their thinking across any channel or discipline. Which is why he doesn’t complain (too much) when his wife makes him watch Love Island – but is equally likely to quote Camus in a client presentation.

Rich spent over half his career in the UK developing campaigns for the likes of Captain Morgan, Agent Provocateur, ASOS.com, Aviva, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson and Magners Irish Cider before moving to Australia to join Edge as strategy chief.

Since then he’s worked with some of Australia’s biggest brands including AAMI, Bupa, Dan Murphy’s, Mitre 10, Optus and Woolies, winning awards at Mumbrella, Caples, AWARD and a shortlisting at the Effies – amongst others.

Sophie started at Edge as part of the Internship program at the end of 2020 whilst finalising her studies at university, and soon after was offered the role of junior designer. Then, after graduating AWARD school, she was promoted to Art Director.

She loves to experiment with typography and geometric forms, as well as dabbling in animation and UX. Her design style stems from simplistic and abstract inspiration with skills in sketching and painting under her belt as well.

With an undeniable sweet tooth, she is an avid fan of everything food, and you can often find her in her free time working up a sweat at the gym or enjoying an afternoon nap.

Following an internship whilst completing her Media and Communications degree at the University of Sydney, Donna’s tenacity landed her a permanent gig at Edge, where she gets to work on a range of clients like Moccona, Jaycar, Virgin Money Australia and freedom furniture.

When she’s not creating keynotes with wacky animation transitions, you can find Donna road tripping along the coast or with friends at the pub enjoying a good bowl of.. you guessed it, sweet potato fries.

James loves thinking creatively and has experience working with clients like Adidas, Audi, NBA, Binge, Twitch and more. James has an addiction to adventure, either by way of travelling to weird and wonderful places or through fiction in books, theatre or film.

Having worked on many high-profile brands, Rod adds a wealth of experience across retail, automotive, financial and health services, entertainment and sport.

If asked to define her key strength, Lisa reckons it's her ability to forge strong and lasting relationships with her clients – founded on trust, and her constant fight for value on their behalf.

She's a straight forward, honest, and energetic leader, who brings a passion for the media industry, along with a broad set of skills ranging from process development to creative thinking, to bear for her clients: all resulting in bold, sensible, new and cutting edge media campaigns that drive success for all parties.

Outside of work, two of Lisa's favourite things are travel and restaurants – and, although she says she's 'no Masterchef' she isn't opposed to a dabble in the kitchen herself!

    Media Manager

    Louis Williams

    close

Louis is a media addict. He is a data devotee who is obsessed with ad tech algorithms, omnichannel personalisation and biddable media. He blames this data fascination on the fact that he used to specialise in IT B2B advertising. It’s an excuse though, because anyone who has met Louis can see that he is a nerd at heart, perhaps best exemplified by the fact he first came to NSW to represent WA in an interstate chess tournament.

Louis once again found himself called to Sydney to join the Edge team. When Louis is not plunging into all things media you can find him most likely underwater spearfishing, or diving for sea urchins.
