Throughout the years, the Invictus Games have paid tribute to the healing power of sport and its ability to recover and rehabilitate those who have been injured while serving their country.
To bring this powerful message to life, we created a short film that celebrated 100 days to go until the launch of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018.
The film centred around the ‘Invictus’ poem written in 1875 by William Ernest Henley, and featured members of the Invictus Games community across generations.
The film included Team Australia competitor Heidi Joosten, director of the War Widows' Guild of Australia NSW Gwen Cherne and her daughter Emily and, of course, His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex amongst others. The film reinforced the unconquered spirit of our wounded warriors.
