David began his career as a marketing graduate with Woolworths, where he experienced first hand the challenges of understanding the customer’s needs and the commercial realities of business.
His background stretches from traditional advertising
(Managing Director, Lowe Lintas) to experiential marketing (Managing Director, Jack Morton), and retail (Managing Director, Creative Oasis).
With the merger of Edge and CO David is responsible for the delivery of communication solutions for our clients that challenge the way brands engage – fusing advertising and content.

You're given an airplane ticket to anywhere in the world – where do you choose to go (and why)?
I’ve never been to Cuba. And I love to go before the place changes for ever.
What's your favourite memory?
Childhood beach holidays at Brunswick Heads: the salt, the surf, the sun, triggered anew by every beach holiday.
Who is your inspiration?
My maternal grandfather. A country town mayor with drive, energy and a real vision.
You're on a desert island – what album have you brought with you?
I’d prefer my spotify playlist – but if pushed, ‘Welcome to the Beautiful South’. A band with a beautiful sound AND something to say.
What would be your death-row dinner?
Have to be a Thai banquet – starting with miang kham and finishing with mango and sticky rice. And I’d take my time.
Because I reckon the challenges marketers face today need some smarter ways of working and the mix of talented people at Edge are up for it.
