Edge Sydney, a leading independent creative agency, is looking for an up and coming Account Manager to work on a number of our blue-chip B2B clients. Working closely with the Senior Account Director, you will be a switched on Account Executive ready to take the next step or an Account Manager looking for a new challenge.
This role brings with it the opportunity to develop your skills across all channels and disciplines with an emphasis on social and digital.

Producing and delivering high quality work

  • Provides constructive feedback on the quality of creative work
  • Accurately prepares briefs and debriefs for creative and production

Account Management and Client Management

  • Day-to-day communication with internal and external teams both at the client and with suppliers, often across technical projects
  • Complete ongoing admin and reporting, including WIP documentation, status reports, contact reports and specific reporting on agreed KPI’s
  • Liaise with external suppliers as required ensuring that they receive a clear briefing and understanding of their role within the project
  • Attend meetings offsite with the client and other partner agencies as required
  • Support other members of the team with day-to-day management of the account

Managing internal and external relationships

  • Challenges, interprets and articulates a client’s objectives to ensure briefs are on-target
  • Encourages a team environment that records and uses shared knowledge and experience
  • Maintains and develops professional rapport with clients
  • Ensures that delivered work meets or exceeds client expectations

Driving productivity and growth

  • Financial management of jobs, providing estimates to clients, creating PO’s for suppliers and tracking project budgets
  • Enforces the obligations of the contractual relationship
  • Ensures that all chargeable services are correctly invoiced
  • Ensures that revenue and job related direct costs are on-budget
  • Assisting in new business opportunities and pitches where experience is relevant and will benefit the business
